The team presentation (25 countries and more than 100 skiers) took place in the central square of Moissac in front of the 12th century Cloister. The Mayor and deputy of the Town, Jean Paul Nunzi declared the competition open.

14May00 Cory Pickos sets new pending World Record in tricks of 11,920 in Mulberry, FL

14May00 Jaret Llewellyn set a new Ski Fly World Record of 91.1m (299 ft) at the Big Air Challenge in Orlando.

Chief Judge Sherm Schraft declared the that the record was official after verifying it with the homologator per IWSF Rule 18.08 which allows Ski Fly records to be ratified on site.
Jaret's jump is the only officially certified record of the tournament.

The 51.7 was round 1 on May 6 and the 51.8 was in round 2 on May 7
