Aus $20,000 Cash Prize Event & New Pro Rider Division

The WWC are pleased to announce the cash prize event to be held in Sydney, Australia.

Prize money of Aus $20,000 will be up for grabs, for some of the globes best riders, With only four months to the 4th WWC Wakeboard Worlds plans are well under way and ahead of schedule. The WWC has created a new division within the Championships, to allow for the growth of Pro riders taking part.

Tige, the Official Towboat, will sponsor the cash purse event following the conclusion of the WWC World Championships. Entry will be based upon results and criteria in the rules, please see the WWC website.

The site at Penrith is a proven venue having previously hosted the X-Games, facilities are excellent and include a huge electronic scoreboard for riders to follow themselves and their rivals scores. Riders will also receive a goodie bag on arrival including T-shirt, truckers cap, event rash vest and back pack, lunch is also included during competition days.

Accommodation is provided very close to the site, allowing riders time to relax at the hotel before riding or just simply getting to the lake to watch the Pro’s ride. Transport to and from the site will operate on the hour - free of charge for hotel guests and competitors. Riders will receive 1st class treatment at the Site with a rider chill out area complete with refreshments and warm up facilities.

Riders will also be invited to special events such as the Sydney Harbour Cruise Party, cruising and dining on Sydney’s MV Sydney 2000, the largest site seeing and al a carte cruising restaurant ever built for Australian waters. 63 metres of luxury. Enjoy the sites of the Harbour Bridge, Opera House and city forshore, the very best way to see the site and party from a 400 person boat.
