The Italian Water Ski Federation looks forward to welcoming all Federations to the World Championship in Milan in September 1999.
The second Bulletin is being circulated to all IWSF Federations but please note that subsequent Bulletins will only be sent to Federations who return the Intention to Enter Form (attached) to Organizers within July 13rd 1999.
COMPETITION VENUE
Idroscalo is situated near the airport of milano Linate and is appr. 5 km from the city.

INTENTION TO ENTER
Enclosed you will find the intention to Enter Form to be returned to the Italian Water Ski Federation within July 13rd 1999.
ACCREDITATION
All Federations are kindly requested to fill out the skier's Curriculum Vitae and the enclosed accreditation forms (CV skiers, Team Captain, Team Staff, Press) and to send these back to Italian Waterski Federation as soon as possible, and not later than July 30th, 1999. These documents are necessary for the commentators and the press. The photos are needed to prepare accreditation badges in time.
HOW TO REACH THE SITE
By plane: Milano Linate is the nearest airport to the competition site, only 5 minutes. The other airport, Milano Malpensa is approximately 30 km from Idroscalo. In both the airports there will be a World Championship Meeting Point with guidance to the busses.
It is important that the italian Water Ski Federation is informed early enough of the arrival of the partecipants (including the number of the flight).
By train: The nearest railway station is Milano Centrale, 5 km. from Idroscalo
By car: take the A14 or A4 highway direction "Tangenziale est" exit at Milan Linate.
TRANSPORTATION
There will be a bus service between the Airport and the Hotel. Teams are requested to inform the Italian Federation about their arrival time in advance in order to arrange the transport. We inform you that there is a good train service from Milano Malpensa to the centre of Milan and many bus services from Linate to the centre. Shuttle buses will be provided to the competition site every day.

OFFICIAL TOW BOATS
The three official tow boats for World Championship will be provided by Correct Craft.

Special prices have been obtained for car-rental. For information and reservations please contact the official Agency aquarium.
LUNCHES
Lunches for all team members (skiers and two officials per Team) and officials will be provided free of charge on site each day.
VISAS
All partecipants to the World Championship coming from Countries that need visa, must present the invitation of the Organizing Committee and/or a letter iussed from their federation, stating they will take part in the Championship, to the italian Consulate in their country. Visa must be obtained before departing from the country of residence in order to avoid any problems at the Italian immigration border or at any other transit border where a visa is required.
DOPING CONTROL
The doping tests will be taken according to the International Water Ski Federation Rules.
FACTS ABOUT ITALY
The weather conditions in Milan in september are very nice: the daytime temperature is 20-22 C. The currency unit of Italy is Lira Italiana. The approximate rates of exchange are:
