List any alterations to the course, etc. duringthe competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. EVENT WAS RUN ABOUT AS WELL AS POSSIBLE GIVEN A PUBLIC RIVER SITE WITH CURRENT VARYING FROM UNDER 1/4 MPH TO NEARLY 1 MPH, PLUS MYSTERY ROLLERS FROM PUBLIC BOATING OUTSIDE OF THE LIMITS OF THE CLOSED AREA. THERE WAS ALSO SIGNIFICANT BACKWASH FROM VERTICAL WALLS ON THE FAR SHORE. SITE WAS NOT CLOSED TO TRAFFIC DURING COURSE SETOUT AND HOMOLOGATION. WAS THE WORST TRAFFIC SITUATION EVER EXPERIENCED IN OVER 200 TOURNAMENTS. FORTUNATELY, NO ONE WAS INJURED OR KILLED WORKING IN THE WATER. IN THE FUTURE, A SANCTION SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED UNLESS THE SITE CAN BE CLOSED FOR AT LEAST ONE FULL DAY BEFORE THE START OF THE EVENT. --NOTE NO SLALOM CENTERLINE VIDEO --WATERSIDE SLALOM TOWER WAS UNDER 3 METERS TO EYE LEVEL --SPEED CONTROL WORKED RELATIVELY WELL Homologator: ED BRAZIL (name and address) 3378 Dexter Shores Dr., SE, Winter Haven, FL 33884 Chief Judge: MARY GAIL HOLCOMBE (name and address) Please email this homologation record to bcorson@telesciences.com within 7 days of the end of the tournament. -
