The Italian Water Ski Federation will produce a videocassette of the 1999 World Waterski Championships.
The cassette will be available in the various formats PAL, NSC, and SECAM, and is composed in the following manner:
- One section (more or less 20 minutes), will be dedicated to a general overview of the World Championships and the more spectacular aspects of the Sport, the people involved, the Sponsors, as well as a look behind-the-scenes. This part is not commented by a speaker, and will have an overlaying soundtrack of music and ambient sound effects. All of the titles will be in English.

- A second part will be dedicated to the Podiums of each single discipline, as follows: the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth classified will be shown in the live camera work shot during the days of the Finals, including all the Figures passages for men and women, all of the Jumps in the Finals for men and women, and all Slalom passages starting from 12 meters for men and 13 meters for women (including the tie-breaks for the awarding of the medals). For the combined disciplines the best passages for each single discipline will be included.

- There will also be an introduction dedicated to the Inauguration Ceremony and the end part will be dedicated to the Closing Party.
I believe this cassette, which is 60-90 minutes long, will be the most spectacular and exciting representation of Waterski available.
Our intention is to reduce as much as possible the cost of the cassette, and to do so it is important to have many copies made. The more orders made, the lesser the cost. The objective is to succeed in selling at least 500 copies making the cost US$30.00 per copy plus postage fees.
I would invite all Federations to give this message to their Affiliates, post it on relative web sites, and generally serve themselves of all the means useful for the diffusion of this information.
All of those interested must send written confirmation of their intention to buy the cassette.
In 45 days we will take all of your potential orders and your addresses and turn them over to the Italian Federation, which will contact you directly to let you know the final cost of the cassette. You will then have to give them a final confirmation of your order, and choose the form of payment you prefer from those offered by the Italian Federation.
