International Water Ski Federation Organization
IWSF Regions
The three IWSF Regions are geographically distributed around the
world. They are the Pan American Region,
the European, African, and Middle Eastern Region (EAME),
and the
Asian-Australasian Region.
Each Region consists of member federations. These Federations
elect members to the Region Executive and members to the
Regional Councils. Current Councils are Water Ski, Barefoot
Water Ski, Water Ski Racing, and Disabled Water Ski.
This is shown in the chart below:
IWSF Councils
Each of the four IWSF councils has three members from each
Region's council. There may also be an alternate.
This structure is shown in the chart below:
IWSF Executive Board
The IWSF Executive Board consists of three members from
each Region's Executive. This is normally the Region
President, the Region Secretary General, and a third
member. From these nine members, a President and Secretary
General are elected. Since the President and Secretary
General cannot hold additional office, the Regional Office
that they vacated must be replaced by the Region. This
election must be ratified by the IWSF Congress at its
biennial meeting.
Also, the Chairman of each IWSF Council sits on the
Executive Board with a voice, but no vote.
This structure is shown in the chart below:
