The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Slalom and Jump courses use cross lines approx. 75metres in length. Longitudinal stability lines are used to keep courses accurately in place in adverse conditions. Lines are all stainless steel of adequate size and strength and kept to an unusually high tension with winches. Each buoy is individually weighted to maintain buoys at the correct height. Course is maintained by a person to ensure R/C catagory at all times during season. Check buoy targets readings monthly, weekly in high season. Perfect Pass version is the latest available from PP. Version of Video Tricks program used is Timer04v5i. BackUp tricks timer uses a 20 second timer timed by software in a Toshiba Laptop. Software is Pascal program written for older median timer manually started. FootTime.exe Notice Published in federation literature as Record Capability. Notice board at site. Test Buoy for (40m) was removed to avoid interference to competitors. This homologator believes this need to position test buoy central to the landing zone is uneccessary and impractical. Exhaustive testing on level ground and with fixed cameras even at large sized grids is overkill. No evidence exists to indicate that accuracy is not maintained well beyond the 35 degree angle and certainly up to the edge of the grid. This makes it quite easy to establish test buoys out of the way and to leave insitu during event. Recommendation to refer to IWSF Tournament Council. Figures for 40 metre test buoy were mislaid and not available as buoy removed. See above Tricks camera in Boat is not 3 metres above water. IWSF rules are a little ambiguous in this regard. Homologator is satisfied that providing action is in hand to cater for boat's "rooster" tail visibility is adequate for R/C. A higher position seat if not mandatory should be recommended for the video camera operator. In any case the visibility from the boat position is so far superior to previous arrangements as to void any problems of trick judges. Trick Video from boat was used and was also recorded in the boat camera.Recorded also on VCR on shore from radio reception. Few if any dropped frames in program. An odd frame missed from microwave transmission. No breaks noted on runs approaching record capability.
