After the end of the form as noted by the end label is the section where comments may be added. IMPORTANT NOTICE: It is not the intent of this form to add hours of extra work to the homologator's job, but rather to provide a quick checklist that gives visibility of the technical effort to the general skiing public. The files requested should already have been generated in the course of your set-up of the site. Just attach them as they were created with no special processing. The requirement for scoring and officiating files has been deleted. The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Several new Ski Fly Jump Records set. Only the longest one was submitted, The new Ski Fly Record set by Jarett Llewellyn at 299 feet/91.1 meters . Attached is the Survey Reports for Jumping West bound (Temp Ski Fly Course). The Ed Brazil East bound course was set up and surveyed, but not used due to the wind direction. I performed a three point survey and found some errors on the West Bound Temp course. The following items were corrected. The MT buoys were too far down course from the Jump and the 81M segment was too long. The 19/21 MT were moved up course 1 1/2 meters to obtain 10.75 M from jump and to obtain 82 M for the first segment. In addition, the 19CL was 1M to close to the jump. In lieu of moving the jump or course since VJ Grid had all ready been surveyed in and verified using a 256 marker buoy (VLR5), the driver Less Todd corrected the Y axis (19CL to Jump CL) for each skier as needed. I verified that all corrections made were within acceptable limits for Ski Flying, and no advantage was added to improve the score of any jumper. Only one grid was used 65/91 M with camera located on boat guide/buoy shore side. Several records were denied because the rope and handle were too long. After two different skiers handle/rope were found to be 1 meter too long, I measured all jump lines/handle and made necessary correction prior to the final round. The final round was when the new jump record was set at 299 Ft/91.1 meters. For information, a longer line (over 105ft/32M) is not an advantage in Ski Fly, but the IWSF rule states 32M max. Attached is the initial 3pt survey data prior to MT buoy correction.
