The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS TRICKS - Used In Boat Video, transmitted back to 2 Trick Timing Computers, 2 VCRs, 3- 19"TVs. Two judges operated one of the Trick Timing Computers, 5 Trick Judges reviewed the 3 19" TVs for calling tricks live. The other Trick Timing Computer and VCR were used as backup in case we had to review a trick run, while the event was still in process. Also taped tricks from shore as backup. PROBLEM: 1) During setup (Wed & Thurs) had problems with interferences. On Friday, connected Dave Clark's receiver and we had NO major interferences. 2) Video Capture Save: Unable to compress the files with our ATI card. The Video Trick computers were 350mz. We did not have time to save the video and get back to Video Capture before the tricker was coming back in for pass 2. There are no delays between trick passes at the Masters, therefore did not have time to save files. Used the VCR Tapes as backup inlieu of the computer capture files. 3) VT01.U did not provide enough of the run to determine the last few tricks. Dave Clark and Bob Corson revised and issued VT01.V for Sunday and we had NO problems. JUMP: Jr Jump- Traditional, Sr Jump -Ski Fly only. Setup jumping in North and South Direction with Wireless transmitters/receivers for Grid 3. No problem. Had 3 cameras/Grid for each direction. Did NOT like the location for the cameras, but did NOThave a better location. We have plans for 2002 that will offer better setup. SLALOM: End Course Video - used wireless transmitters/receivers over 1000ft and had no problems. Everyone ran 2 rounds (qualification and finals), except Open Men who ran 3 rounds. RECORDS: One Jr Canadian Boys Jump Record submitted, Women Ski Fly Record was tied by same skier (Emma Shears). Jaquess tied her existing Girls 3 National Slalom Recored.
