THE JUMP RATIO FOR WOMEN WAS ACCEPTABLE UNDER THE CURRENT IWSF RULES. 5'-10" (1.77M) AT 24'-6" (7.56M) @ RATIO OF .234. HOWEVER, THE MEN SKI FLY JUMPED ON A 6'-1" (1.85M) AT 24'-6" (7.56M) @ RATIO OF .245 WHICH DOES NOT MEET THE IWSF RULES. I WAS TOLD THAT THIS WAS APPROVED THRU IWSF. I DID NOT FOUND OUT UNTIL I GOT BACK FROM THE MASTERS (5/28/02) THAT BOB CORSON HAD NOT APPROVED THIS REQUEST (HE NEVER RECIEVED A REQUEST FROM THE SKI FLYERS). BASED ON THE CURRENT CONDITION. RECOMMEND THAT THE WOMEN SCORES BE SUBMITTED AS IS. THE MEN SCORES SHOULD NOT BE ACCEPTABLE FOR RAKING. Both Ski Fly course were surved (one point), with two video grides covering from 180ft to 300ft. Used the existing east bound course and video grid. Had to install the west bound course and video grid, the original course could not be located. A verification buoy was installed for each giid and verified prior to starting each event (Women, Men). VJ setup was in tolerance. No technical problems encountered except with Men Ski Ramp Setting (ratio).
