The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Give details of any variations of IWSF rules. List any alterations to the course, etc. duringthe competition. List any malfunction of equipment. Give any further information which might affect the Tournament Council's assement of the homologation. On the 23rd july, the boat camera fixing went off. We therefore had to organize the judging of the 2nd series of slalom Senior 2 preliminary round with two judges on one shore, two judges on the tower watching the video gates. This particular round is then homologated as Normal instead of RC for all the others. The system was repaired for the following rounds and the following days. 25 July 2004 Event jump; Finals for world Trophy After the ladies series senior 3, 2 and 1, the weather conditions went bad. The wind started blowing in gusts between 5 and 25 km/h in the jumping direction. Some team captains came to the jury tower to claim that the safety conditions were becoming hazardous. I organized a team captain meeting where only france and sweden wanted to jump, the others wanting to stop. It represented 2 skiers wanting to jump out of 21. The advice of the safety officer was that the wind conditions had very little chance to improve. I decided to wait for a quater of an hour, until 1815 before making a decision, in case an improvement would occur. At 1815, the weather conditions had not improved, neither at 1830 when we held a jury meeting along with the safety officer to make a decision. I exposed the facts described above to the jury. Claude Lacan, talking in the name of the safety officer, (Claude Lacan is also the president of the local club and knows the area very well), advised that the weather conditions could only become worse. The judges asked questions about the consequences of the different possible options which we examined together. I read rule number 2.04 to averybody. I then asked if everybody was satisfied with the information and explanations provided. Everybody answered yes and so we proceeded with the vote of the judges of the panel. The result was 5 times "stop the event" against two times "go on jumping" I therefore stopped the event and informed the team captains immediately.
