The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS 1) Slalom course was surveyed by Jerry Jackson on 10/30/00 using single point under high wind conditions and between class C/F tourn. All buoys were found to be within acceptable tolerance except the Pregate. Did not change length because this would not effect any performances. 2) Used Video Gates with Judge tower between 2 and 3. 3) At my request, we started out with all buoy timing (one set of magnets on one side, 2 pickup probes, PP in Malibu). Due to in-consistence times, we had approx. a 3 1/2 hr delay. During troubleshooting some of the problems found were: 1 weak probe, magnets on week side (25-30), 2 magnets upside down, 1 gate magnet crushed, and gusting winds, And during troubleshooting/setup bend the prop twice. The magnet test did not show any problems with the magnets, only that they all read low but within acceptable range. To prevent any more delays, we change back to using only Gate and Mid course magnets, one probe in the boat (Malibu/Nautique). Due to the problems, did not have time to determine the reason why all buoy timing would not work. Using fall button, we only had 3 re-rides due to falling to hit the fall button. 4) One European/France Open Women Record: Geraldine Jamin, 2 @ 10.75. Record application and end course video to be mailed by Jerry Jackson to France Federation. Overall the tournament was very successful with very good scores.
