HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Hello I must thank the organization for excellent and competent help all along the week : - Surveying team - Dock Starters Team - Diving team to pop the buoys up and down - Camera and Electronics team which has made this big event run as smoothly as possible. If we run into the different event installations : Trick course lake 1 : 232m OK, a little close to the right shore at the south side of the lake maybe, but no skier noticed or complained. Trick course lake 2 : 205m max if you want to have enough preparation time both sides. It is good for ladies tricks, too short for the fast men Slalom course lake 1 : very easy to adjust buoy by buoy to obtain an very accurate course. Ramp : The ramp was brand new, well built, well anchored, easy to adjust in position, opening and to the different heights. Due to an unsual number of crashes during preliminaries series 3, 2 and 1, all this was thoroughly rechecked a second time to come to the same conclusion. Its weak point is the apron : very steep although in tolerance, and not long enough to have 30cm in the water when at 1m80 (an extra length had to be fixed to it). Regarding these two points of the apron, I would propose to amend the rules for better safety of the skiers : Apron angle : 45° or more Length in the water : 30cm mini, at the entrance AND the exit of the apron. I will conclude with a big thank you to all the members of the jury, with a specific mention to our chief judge, Dimos Alexopoulos, who handled admirably some tricky issues such as heavy rain on the first day, or an unusual number of crashes in the jump event. and achieved a championship which was run to the satisfaction of the skiers and the organizers.
