The following section is where free form comments are added and attachments are made. HOMOLOGATOR'S REMARKS Slalom is CrossLine with weekly survey checks thruóut season. Crossline course uses central longitudinal spacer sections of exact length and kept at very high tension thruóut length. Jump and Slalom courses are semi floating, with vertical risers of 1.25 metre length. As is the usual case with this Jump course it is not physically possible to place 150 and 180 guidance markers in correct popsition. Instead they are placed in measured positions at the shoreline and plainly visible to competitors. As this is possibly a disadvantage to the competitor, this Homologator recommends that this result should be considered a minimum of "Listing". The trick course was of the newer rules format, however for physical constraint reasons the pre course buoys were not used this time. Due to excessive heat the EndCourse Video failed to operate for the second round of Slalom. The temperature was in excess of 45 degrees celcius for most of the event. Failure of VCR's occured. As VCR's are now considered obsolete, this homologator suggests rule change to allow more modern equipment to be used in Australia. One Jump video camera failed also and was replaced during the Tournament. The Boats timing used Zero Off for the first time at the Masters and one of the first uses of this system at an Australian Major tournament. For Trick event three senior judges used with two trainee and junior Judges employed.
