Seoul coaching seminar 2010

The IWWF Development Commission completed the first of its two 2010 Development Seminars in Seoul last weekend, hosted by the Korea Water Ski & Wakeboard Federation. The seminar saw 40 coaches from 4 Asian countries attending the three days of seminars delivered by Development Commission members Jean Michel Cau (FRA) and John Wood (GBR). The seminar covered both the technical aspects of water skiing and wakeboard as well as sessions on the coaching methodology and practice.

The IWWF Development Commission is working in the Confederation to expand the sport and promote inclusion in Regional Games. The seminar was opened by IWWF President Kuno Ritschard who combined this duty with meetings for the World Cup stop at the World Leisure Games. The World Cup stop is to be hosted by KWWA in September, part of the effort of a very active Federation which is working hard to promote the sport in the AAO Confederation.

The next IWWF Development Commission seminar will take place in the Europe and Africa Confederation at Palermo, Sicily (ITA) from May 14th ? 16th as part of the Commissions work to support the sport?s involvement in the Mediterranean Games.
