The IWSF Tournament Council has decided to contine the delay of the introduction of the 3 segment timing. While the 2 segment timing remains official, at tournaments where 3 segment timing equipment is used, it should be recorded and submitted. Although the major tournament programs have not been upgraded to be compatible with the 3 segment timing, 3 segment recording software is available.
The recorded results should indicate system type used, speed, 52m time, 30m or full 82m time depending on the system readout, and the 41m segment time.
