Welcome

In the old days our lake used to be a public swimming area. When it was opened to the public back in 1926 nobody would even have heard of a "tantrum to blind, air krypt or a blind cablescrew". Even today those terms would pass as an old Agyptic epitaph, but we think of it as a language of a new generation of watersport enthusiasts. Wakeboarding will bring to all of us new concepts, new public interest and last but not least new friends to us and our sport.

Germany will hold a major event in August 2001 organized by the German Waterski Federation and the Wasserskiclub Wedau, under the care of the International Waterski Federation. This event is the IWSF Cablewakeboard World Championships, which will be held in August 3^rd to 5^th at the location:

The IWSF Cablewakeboard Worldchampionships will be carried out according to the IWSF Cablewakeboard World Championships Rules 2001.

Categories:

Boys: If a rider was born in the following years then they qualify

for this category: 1986 – 1987 – 1988 – 1989 - 1990

Girls: If a rider was born in the following years then they qualify for this category: 1986 - 1987 – 1988 – 1989 – 1990

Junior Men: If a rider was born in the following years then they qualify for this category: 1982-1983-1984-1985 or younger

Junior Ladies: If a rider was born in the following years then they qualify

For this category: 1982-1983-1984-1985 or younger

Open Men: No age restriction

Open Ladies: No age restriction

Masters Men: If a rider was born in 1970 and under

Masters Ladies: If a rider was born in 1970 and under

Team: Conditions will be published in Bulletin N° 2

Entry:

No minimum entry is required.

The number of participators per federation per age category is limited to:

Boys: 3 maximum Girls: 3 maximum

Junior Men: 3 maximum Junior Ladies: 3 maximum

Open Men: 6 maximum Open Ladies: 3 maximum

Masters Men: 3 maximum Masters Ladies: 3 maximum

Entrants must be IWSF-Federation members.

All riders must have current Federation licences.

Entry Fee: An entry fee of SF 100 per rider must be paid on arrival at the competition venue. This may be paid in Swiss Francs, in DM or in other currencies at the exchange rate of the day.
