The 2001 Cable Wakeboard World Championships

With great honor and pleasure the International Water Ski Federation announces that the 2001 Cable Wakeboard World Championships has been officially assigned to Germany.

This spectacular and thrilling event will be hosted by the German Water Ski Federation, from August 3rd to 4th, 2001, in the wonderful city of Duisburg. More information on the competition and the site will be available soon on iwsf.com and on waterskiing.worldsport.com.

These Championships will no doubt attract a crowd of spectators, and I am certain that none of the National Federations will want to be left out, especially considering the enormous success of the 2000 Wakeboard World Championships which are now being held in Montpellier, France. I am confident that the 2001 Cable Wakeboard Championships will be just as exciting.
