Television & Press Access Programme
The IWSF has decided to run its own TV production for all Stops
of the 2004 Water Ski and Wake Board World Cup. The object of this agreement was achieve greater visibility and exposure over the next five years. The target is to maximise viewer numbers each year through free distribution world wide. This means that all programming produced by the IWSF is available on a free basis to all requesting TV Stations (in some territories, exclusive deals may be arranged).
IWSF TV: 5 Tracks for High Visibility
Track 1: News Distribution
Immediately after each Prize Giving ceremony, a satellite feed is booked in partnership with Eurovision-EBU to release a short 3 minutes News item available to virtually all TV bodies world wide. EBU extends the news access for this item to all sister unions World Wide, that is ABU (Asia), ASBU (North Africa and Middle-East), URTNA (Africa) and TV partners in South and North America - a network of more than 300 TV stations all around the world, among the main public broadcasters, reaching 50% of the World’s total TV audience.
IWSF also gives access to the same news item to Reuters has 400 TV network subscribers, reaching more than 1000 TV affiliates in 96 countries worldwide. IWSF News items for each venue are recorded in more than 1500 News Rooms and are available for Sport Bulletins, News Bulletins and Libraries.
Track 2 : TV Magazine airtime
Through a production and distribution agreement with ProActive-UK, IWSF has a guaranteed airtime of 26 minutes for each Stop included in the magazine show Watersports World/Hot Water. This weekly TV show is shown on the following TV stations

Track 3 : Host Broadcasters
For each Stop, the IWSF has a Host Broadcaster to maximise visibility in that country. The same footage is used to prepare the international TV shows.
Track 4 : IWSF Own Distribution
Each year, the IWSF will increase its contacts with TV stations world-wide wishing to receive footage of the Stops. Many countries now have Sport Channels receptive to receiving spectacular shows. The footage edited for Watersports World is distributed to these Broadcasters.
Track 5 : Airtime and Live
The IWSF has an agreement with Eurosport News: all events are shown many times on Eurosport News Sports bulletins. Each Stop gains high visibility through this tool. Each year, one event will also be shown "live" on Eurosport.
Other similar deals will be done in the future with other Sports Channels
In 2004, all the combined Tracks will generate more than 500 million contacts - 100 million through the Shows and 400 million through the News Bulletins.
